Denmaur to host best practice paper seminars at MediaPro 09

Denmaur Independent Papers, one of the UK’s leading independent paper merchant groups, has announced the details of its best practice in paper purchasing seminar being held at MediaPro 09.

Visitors to the new exhibition, which is being held at Old Billingsgate, London on 4-5 November 2009, are invited to attend this valuable seminar to gain an important insight into how economics and the environment are inextricably linked.

Denmaur Independent Papers Sales Director, Julian Townsend and John Sanderson, UPM- Kymmene’s Director of Global Environmental Market Support, will present a front line industry insight into ‘best practice’ purchasing looking at the avoidance of single environmental issues through to reducing waste and improving effectiveness. The core of the seminar will establish what constitutes an environmentally responsible paper and with the current comparisons being made with existing and emerging e media, present a strong case for why paper and printed product has environmental validity. ‘If paper was invented today, it would be seen as environmental innovation!’

Peter Sommerville, Marketing Director of Denmaur Independent Papers will also moderate the event.

The seminar will conclude with a lively questions and answers session. The seminar is being staged in the Kodak Theatre on 5th November at 11.30am.

Visitors to MediaPro 09 are invited to the Denmaur Independent Paper stand (no. 22) to celebrate the environmental and technical merits of their premium UK stock papers Amadeus, Amadeus 50% Recycled and UPM Fine. There will be stand gifts and an opportunity to win one of three hampers representing the countries of manufacture, and of course experience the usual friendly Denmaur hospitality.
